Evangelist Maxine Henry was born to Harold and Rovetta Johnson on September 17, 1977, in Los Angeles, CA and is the youngest of three children. 

​

Evangelist Henry has been married to her husband and best friend, Elder Roger Henry, Jr., for a decade. Together, they have six children and eight “Mini Mees.” 

Evangelist Henry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology and works in accounting as a Pension Plan Administrator for a local CPA firm.

Evangelist Henry is submitted to the leadership of Administrative Assistant Vernon R. and Lady Vicki Kemp L. Kemp at Greater Harvest Christian Center Bakersfield, where she serves as a Sunday School teacher for both the youth and women’s classes. Evangelist Henry volunteered on Greater Harvest’s financial team and after three years of faithful service, was promoted to the position of church financial controller. It is under this same leadership that she received her evangelist license in 2016.

In her spare time, Evangelist Henry likes to spend time with her family. She also loves traveling and fine dining. Reading is her pastime, and writing is her getaway.

Her favorite scripture is Jude 24: “Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.”
